Drugs, guns, cash seized near CMS
A raid on a suspected drug house near the Clinton Middle School has one man behind bars with a half-million-dollar bond set, and police looking for another.
Large quantities of marijuana, methamphetamine and crack cocaine were found, along with four handguns and a substantial amount of cash, when a search warrant was executed Wednesday on the house at 416 N. Seventh St., said Detective Capt. Mike Murley of the Clinton Police Department.
Murley said the house had been outfitted with video cameras in a further effort to protect “their ongoing drug trade.”
