Cornell appointed to state board by Governor Fallin
Two state board appointments have been announced among citizens in this part of the state by Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin.
Longtime Clinton attorney Pat Cornell has been named to the Indigent Defense System Board. Also, Elk City veterinarian Dr. Keith Fuchs has been named to the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. In both cases, the appointments are pending confirmation by the Oklahoma State Senate.
Cornell served two terms as Clinton mayor from 1984 to 1988. He served again for two terms on the Clinton City Council from 1998 to 2002.
