CMS set to sell suckers at bean dinner
Clinton Middle School students will be staging a sucker sale as part of the fundraiser at the 10th annual bean dinner, art exhibition and talent show, set for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at the school. Issuing a sweet reminder are, from left, Lexa Merrill, teacher Missy Heard, Axel Salcido, Joshua Weschke, Juan Martinez and secretary Connie Cabaniss. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children up to eighth grade. Admission includes both the dinner and talent show. The show is being directed by Nancy Murray, with assistance from Gail Simpson and Kendall Hasty. The art show is under the direction of Joy Badillo. Also planned is a book fair conducted by librarian Christy Manhart. Proceeds will go to pay for CMS technology needs.
