Clinton students gearing up for long testing season
Local students returned to classes Monday after the Christmas and New Year’s break. And Clinton Supt. Kevin Hime is already wrestling with testing and budget issues going into the second semester.
While other districts have been questioning State Supt. of Public Instruction Janet Barresi about the school site grading system, particularly where it applies to re-grading for individual students, Hime has resigned himself to Clinton’s scores (there had been some questions initially about whether individual scores at issue might have impacted on the overall letter grade Washington Elementary School received, for instance).
