Clingon high School plans new scholarship talent show in April
A new Clinton High School social event is in the works, the Mr. and Miss CHS Scholarship Talent Show. CHS Principal Kenny Stringer won approval for the show at January’s regular monthly Clinton Board of Education meeting.
Although some of the plans are still tentative for the event, Stringer is planning on holding it Saturday, April 26, in the Clinton Middle School Auditorium. The goal is to sell 750 tickets at $10 each, which would generate some $4,000 in scholarship money. It would also pack out the small auditorium.
