Choreography a big part of Spring Gala

   Western Oklahoma Ballet Theatre, the area’s nonprofit, pre-professional ballet company, is currently preparing its annual Spring Gala production, featuring the one-act ballet “The Toy Shoppe” for performances Saturday through Monday, April 12-14, at the Fine Arts Center on the campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, artistic director Penny Askew said.

   Public performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13.

   Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. On Monday, April 14, the company will be presenting a Children’s Concert of “The Toy Shoppe” for students from Clinton’s Nance

   Elementary, Weatherford’s Burcham Elementary and Sentinel Elementary School.
