8th graders focused on writing test
Clinton Middle School scored an overall “D” on its writing testing last year, and Principal Mark Moring is pulling out the stops to be sure that doesn’t happen again for 2014.
The importance of the Wednesday, Feb. 26, writing test is being emphasized in a number of ways.
A practice writing test will be administered for two hours Tuesday morning. For the test, which will involve some 150 eighth grade students, the new practice gym at Clinton High School will be set up with rows of tables and chairs as a testing center. Students will be bussed over from CMS to CHS for the test.
