Acme offering challenges to escape wintertime blues

It’s a way to test yourself and see if you can do it" -- Logan George

For those who have had enough of being cooped up indoors this winter, Acme Brick Park is offering programs to challenge fitness buffs over two indoor obstacle courses, tailored for both youth and adults, and also an adult weight-lifting competition and kids’ calisthenics competition.

“It’s a way to test yourself and see if you can do it,” said park fitness intern Logan George.

All of this activity will lead up to the first outdoor competition of the season — a Ground Zero Survival 5K obstacle course that will be set up with about 30 obstacles outdoors. That competition is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Acme.
