Western Oklahoma Christian School is gearing up for its annual soup supper fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Frisco Center in Clinton. On the menu will be three different soups — green bean, chicken noodle and borscht (vegetable soup).

The much anticipated Miller well a quarter mile from the Foss Reservoir water treatment plant may not become part of the plant’s water resources after all.

At least, owner Lyle Miller says it won’t unless the Foss Master Conservancy District comes up with a lot better lease offer than it’s made so far.
