Clinton’s First Church of God recently hosted the “Christmas Train Fundraiser” and will donate the proceeds to local charities, said Worship and Communications Pastor Merlanda Dorman.
The event was a huge success, she said, and the church was able to raise $5,600.

A memorial service will be held for Edward Neparko, 83, of Clinton, at 11 a.m. today at the White Dog Hill Restaurant in Clinton.
He died Sept. 17, 2016, at his home outside Clinton.

Sherry Yvonne Ihle Freels, 74, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on May 12, 1942 in Clinton, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Harry C. and Bonnie Lee (Murphy) Ihle.

A funeral service will be held for Raul Izael Lopez, 5 and one-half months, at 10 a.m. Monday in Saint Mary’s Catholic Church.
