Claiming a number of major accomplishments in its first five years of work for the City of Clinton, Severn Trent Services was awarded a five-year extension of its contract at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting.

147 Southwest Elementary School students were found to be proficient in reading at the third grade level on the state-mandated reading test out of the 177 students who took the test, Principal Jason Bengs said Monday.
