Spheros have invaded the Clinton Public Schools and may just give new meaning to the term “well-rounded education.”

Dwight McDonald, who retired after 30 years with the California Highway Patrol and now lives in Valencia, Calif., and his wife, Janene, posed in front of Clinton’s legendary Oklahoma Route 66 Museum on their way to Bowling Green, Ky. McDonald is president of the Santa Clarita Valley Corvette Club.

The familiar Muscular Dystrophy Association boots will be out at Sixth and Gary Boulevard Friday and Saturday for the Clinton Fire Department’s annual fundraising drive to support MDA. Members of the Clinton Fire Department will be at the intersection at Sixth and Gary out in front of the old fire station all day Friday in their annual drive to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Clinton Fire Chief Randy Carpenter said.
