By now most people in Clinton are familiar with the low cost spay and neuter clinics held regularly by Friends for Life Animal Society.

This Saturday at 10 a.m. the young men of Boy Scout Troop 361 and Cub Scout Pack 361 in Clinton will be touring neighborhoods in Clinton and Arapaho to collect food to help the hungry in those communities.

Clinton firemen got another callout early Wednesday morning, but this time it was more than grass that was burning.

Joey Lee

Funeral services for Joey Lee, 37, Clinton resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.
He died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, in Oklahoma City.

Jesse V. Hayes

Memorial services for Jesse V. Hayes, 82, of Zellwood, Fla., formerly from Clinton, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Kiesau-Lee Memorial Chapel.
Hayes died Aug. 12, 2015.

Johnny Galvan

A mass of Christian burial for Johnny “Poncho” Galvan Sr., 68, of Butler, will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clinton.

Bradley Lee Peek

Funeral services for Bradley Lee Peek, 43, of Cordell, have been set for Saturday, 10 a.m. at the Kiesau-Lee Chapel in Clinton.
He died Aug. 24, 2015, In Amarillo, Texas.

Nancy Lucas

Funeral services for Nancy Lucas, 44, Butler resident, will be held at 2 p.m., Monday at the Butler Baptist Church.
She died Aug. 25, 2015, in her Butler home.
